Exciting New Show News

 

  Hey Everyone!!!! We here at Your Reality Recaps have some exciting news to share with you.  Hold on to your hats, because it is BIG! We are covering a new show called  Opposite Worlds airing on the SyFy channel on Tuesday and Wednesday at 10pm EST  starting January 21st.  We will be recapping these episodes every Thursday  at 12:10 EST at www.YourRealityRecaps.com/oworlds starting January 23. 

   Opposite Worlds, hosted by CW's Capture host Luke Tipple,  is a Big Brother-esque reality show. It will take 14 people from all different walks of life and throw them in a house.  What is the twist you ask?  The house is split in two with a glass wall dividing the teams, letting them watch each others every move and envy or dread their conditions. One side will be a a utopic future and the other side a  blast from the far away past. Each side will have it's own advantages and disadvantages. The teams will compete in  intense challenges, and America gets to decide who will get the power to choose the two combatants for the weeks  Duel of Destiny. Two will enter, only one will survive
 


   The most interesting part of this show I think is the influence of social media on the results. Viewers can contribute to  the chatter of opposite worlds and affect the weekly challenges.  Viewers will be asked to participate in real time on twitter and affect the outcome of each players fate in the game.   The show will be using cutting edge approaches to measure the  "social sentiment" of contestants from who is most and least popular and our opinions will influence the show.  It's not just enough now to have a great in game social game you now need to make us like you too  :)  Follow the show on twitter @syfyoppworlds and tweet using #oppositeworlds to get your voice heard.
